Applications:

High voltage lines are a major hazard for low flying aircraft. Placing beacons on pylons is not sufficient to ensure safety due to the very long spans of cable.

Exclusively from OBSTA, The Balisor System uses
its high voltage conductors by tapping the power required directly from the line. Therefore, the system is

completely self-contained.

Features:

◙ A discharge lamp.

◙ A set of capacitive tapings (which depends on the voltage of the
line to be protected).

◙ A set of accessories for suspension and insulation.

◙ Anti-pollution version for polluted areas is available

(chemical, industry, sea side, etc.).

Advantages:

The BALISOR falls into the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) low intensity category.

The neon lamp discharge offers:

◙ The cold cathode low pressure neon discharge lamp generates direct Aviation Red without a filter.

◙ Very long life: Essential to allow continuing
operation of high voltage lines.
