G. S. I. Inc. is a leading company in cockpit, interior, and exterior adaptations for Night Vision Goggles (N. V. G.). We present complete aircraft adaptation capabilities. All instrument modifications are easy to install and maintain. The cockpit is free of secondary reflections and interferences. We offer a low cost modification with optimum solutions for cockpits. Other interior and exterior solutions are just as easy to install and maintain.

All lighted systems are designed to me or exceed MIL-L-85762A and MIL-P-7788F. G. S. I. Inc has the unique experience of the adaptations of the Bell Helicopter AH-1S, B-212, B-206, the Sikorsky UH-60 and CH53, the McDonnell
Douglas F-15, along with the Lockheed F-16 and C-130, as well as many other aircraft from other countries.

N. V. G. Cockpit Adaptation

Night Vision Goggles (N. V. G.):

The Night Vision Goggles (N. V. G.) sense the Infra-Red (IR) wavelengths
(with minus blue coating).

The purpose of the aircraft adaptation is to minimize cockpit IR radiation,
enabling the pilot to view the visible spectrum of light.

Typical Adaptation Examples:

◙ Instruments:

Adding an open frame bezel to illuminate the instrument, no internal
modification of the instrument is needed. Excellent lighting uniformity is achieved
with no reflections or interference. Solutions for a variety of instruments exist.
For example: standard 3 in (7.62 cm), 4 in (10.16 cm), ADI, HIS, Altimeter, etc.

◙ Edge Light Panels:

Replace panels with Type V per MIL-P-7788F. Special projection lights are added to illuminate thumb wheel switched and non-illuminated annunciators.

◙ Warning Lights / Master Cautions:

Modify existing caps or replace with new caps
per MIL-S-22885D.

◙ Flood Light / Position Light / Etc.:

Replace with new NVIS
compatible caps.

◙ Exterior Lighting:

Use existing light fixture modified
for dual mode capability.
