Applications:

The semi-permanent Heliport Lighting System has been developed to allow night helicopter operations, limited to Visual Flight Rules (VFR) where a non-permanent lighting system is available to be used as a temporary or permanent lighting system.

This system has been designed to fulfill the
International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
required photometric performance and has been recently approved by Intertek ETL Semko in compliance with the Standard for Luminaires. This system allows a fast, simple,
and safe deployment and usage for a single helipad.

Features:

It is based on the existing permanent helipad equipment. But the basic equipment design has been modified to allow a rapid, easy deployment on an existing helipad or on an in-the-field landing strip / frozen lake.

The lights are connected through a parallel circuit, powered at 24 V, and driven by a dedicated switchboard that manages the switching of any equipment. The switchboard is also interface able to an air-to-ground radio control that allows the complete control of the system directly from the radio on board the aircraft.

All equipment, with cables included, is supplied with primary connectors for fast installation. Also, the equipment is available with Night Vision use.
